Yes, MacPhail does have a wine club. We like to think of it as a society of like-minded Pinot Noir fans (who like Chardonnay too). Confirmed access to MacPhail wines, including the Mardikian Estate Pinot Noir, pretty much fills our wine wagon, but there’s much more to your membership.

Russian River Valley
Anderson Valley is where it all began for MacPhail, and you can’t begin to talk about Anderson Valley without paying homage to the Ferrington Vineyard. It’s one of the two most easterly vineyards (Anderson Creek shares a fenceline) and is prized by those who love Pinot Noir.
In our first bottling since the 2010 vintage, you’ll find bright and lively red cherry notes with Asian Five Spice, white pepper and the expected backbone of Anderson Valley acid, framing herbal notes and a touch of earthiness. Complex and well structured, the wine opens in your glass and offers an ever more satisfying expression of Anderson Valley, the measuring stick for all others.
~ 92 Pts. / “Silky and deep with elegant style and rich cherry, berry and juicy acidity; deep and ripe, long and stylish. ” – Anthony Dias Blue, Tasting Panel Magazine
~ 91 Pts. “Outstanding” / “Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. The nose leads with aromas of black cherry, toast and tobacco. Mid-weight flavors of oak-kissed black cherry and blackberry fruits have noticeable intensity and freshness. The tannins are nicely balanced, there is a hint of welcome spice, and the deep cherry finish impresses. The wine attracts more attention with time in the glass.” – Rusty Gaffney, PinotFile
